How do parent accounts work?

We offer parent accounts in addition to student accounts.  These accounts are for parents who would like to setup accounts for their student(s), and to remain in control of the billing associated with their student(s)' tutoring.

Parent accounts hold all of the billing information (credit card, subscription options, ability to change/cancel the subscription).  From the parent account, you are able to add as many student accounts as you'd like.  Each student account is able to complete lessons with tutors, by signing into their accounts independently.  All minutes are then recorded and associated with the parent account.

Both parents and students are able to message tutors and schedule / update lessons, but the major differences are:
  1. Parent accounts are in complete control of billing, and are unable to actually attend lessons.
  2. Student accounts cannot update or access billing, and are the only accounts able to enter the lesson space and work with tutors directly.
